A man who was described as a "person of interest" in the case of a Georgia lawyer who has been missing, along with her husband, for more than a week has reportedly committed suicide.

The body of Dennis Ray Gerwing, 54, who was named yesterday in the case, was found later in the day by his lawyer in the bathroom of a condominium in a building that his company manages. He was a business partner of John Calvert, 47, who disappeared with his wife, Elizabeth, a 45-year-old tax attorney, according to a McClatchy Newspapers article. She practiced in Savannah at Hunter MacLean.

More details of their case were discussed earlier, in this ABAJournal.com post and this Atlanta Journal-Constitution article.
