Police: Mom Drove Son, 14, to Murder

Too young to drive, a 14-year-old gang member in California allegedly was chauffeured by his mother, along with six buddies, to a Long Beach park on June 25 in order to murder a 13-year-old there.
They allegedly stabbed Jose Cano to death, and now Eva Daley, 30, and the seven boys, ages 14 to 17, have been charged with the crime, reports the Los Angeles Times.The youths aren't named because they are juveniles, but they may be charged as adults, according to authorities.
At least one of the seven boys had been involved in a previous confrontation with Cano, according to Officer Jackie Bezart of the Long Beach Police Department, and when Daley "drove them back to the park, she drove them there for the purpose of retaliating against the 13-year-old that's deceased," Bezart says. "She wasn't taking them there to play in the park."
