Chicago Power Outage Outrage Sparks Law Firm Probe of Generator Delivery

A newspaper report of a Chicago city official who allegedly got a generator delivered to his door by the electric company while thousands of other residents went without power during a prolonged recent outage has created public outrage—and new business for a local law firm.
Litigation powerhouse Jenner & Block will be overseeing the internal investigation of the alleged generator delivery on behalf of ComEd, the electric company that reportedly delivered the generator to the official, according to Crain's Chicago Business:
"Charles Sklarsky, a partner at Jenner and former assistant U.S. attorney and assistant Cook County state’s attorney, will oversee the probe and serve as the main point of contact with the city’s inspector general, who is conducting his own investigation into what happened, the company said."
