Rival Outfoxed by PA DA’s Ballot Move

An incumbent Pennsylvania prosecutor who is professionally known by her maiden name, Fox, pulled a fast one on him at election time, contends her rival, whose middle name is also Fox.
Voters may have been confused because Greene County District Attorney Marjorie Fox used that name on the ballot in the May 15 Democratic primary but is registered to vote under her married name, Marjorie Niedbala, contends David. F. Pollock in a court challenge. His middle initial stands for Fox, which is why he says voters may have been confused, reports AP.
Fox also won the Republican primary as a write-in candidate, by six votes, but about 80 voters only wrote in the candidate's last name. Pollock contends many of those votes for "Fox" actually were meant for him, AP explains.
Whatever the court decides, the gloves will soon be back on, says Fox. "It's a very small legal community and nobody can stay angry for very long."
