Stanford Class for Laity: Think Like Lawyer

An all-star faculty lineup at Stanford Law School is offering an ambitious and perhaps unprecedented course for nonattorneys.
In a single quarter, 12 professors will attempt to teach graduate students in other disciplines to think like a lawyer, reports the Stanford Daily. The whirlwind tour of the legal profession is intended to help those whose careers involve the law and legal issues understand the way attorneys analyze these topics.
“This is an experimental class,” says Dean Larry Kramer, one of the 12 law school faculty members who will share teaching duties. “We don’t know if it’s going to work, but if it does, it’s going to be amazing. There’s nothing like this anywhere.”
