Steroid Link in Wrestler’s Murder-Suicide?

Authorities are investigating possible illegal steroid use in case of a well-known professional wrestler who strangled his wife, smothered his son and then hanged himself in the weight room of their suburban Atlanta home.
Although the slayings are still being investigated, authorities believe Chris Benoit killed his wife, Nancy, 43, and their seven-year-old son over the weekend and then committed suicide yesterday, reports AP. The bodies were found yesterday afternoon in separate rooms of the family's home.
According to the article, investigators are looking into possible steroid use as a motive in the slayings by Benoit, a former world heavyweight champion who held a number of titles and was professionally known as the Canadian Crippler, among other names. His age is not given.
Authorities also declined to say whether drugs or steroids were found inside the house, although "nothing really out of the ordinary" was found there, said Sgt. Keith Whiteside of the Fayette County sheriff's department on Tuesday.
