Toymaker Mattel Inc. already has massive image problems since its toy recalls in the last month. But it is likely to face a mass of litigation as well.

Already one suit has been filed and others are likely, reports Reuters.

Mattel is still in the midst of its global recall of 18.2 million magnetic toys and another 253,000 toys containing lead paint this week.

Reuters notes that Farrah Shoukry, a Florida parent, has already filed a federal suit against Mattel in Manhattan, seeking refunds, diagnostic testing and class action status. That suit involves Mattel's earlier recall of 1.5 million Fisher-Price toys because of lead paint concerns.
