Sullivan & Cromwell Chair Gets Top Billing Among Wall Street Legal Stars

When Hollywood makes a movie about the record-breaking wild ride on Wall Street in recent weeks, there's one lawyer who's sure to be among the main men played by the likes of Michael Douglas and Harrison Ford.

H. Rodgin Cohen, the chairman of Sullivan & Cromwell, has been ubiquitous amidst those working to resolve the ongoing stock market chaos. The star-studded list of major-name financial industry clients he has represented during their troubles this year include American International Group, Bear Stearns, Fannie Mae, Lehman Brothers and Goldman Sachs, reports the Lawyer.

And that's not all he does:

“He’s the only senior partner I can think of who manages full-time fee-earning with running a major international law firm,” an unnamed London law partner tells the British legal publication.
