Tax Prof Says Blog, ‘Saucy’ E-mails Would Nix Chances of White House Job

University of Cincinnati law professor Paul Caron says the disclosure requirements for Obama administration hopefuls are so onerous that bloggers and “saucy” e-mailers like himself would find it difficult to comply.
Item 10 of the 63-item questionnaire requires Cabinet wannabes to provide a copy of all of their writings, including blog posts, Caron reports at TaxProf Blog. And the 13th question asks for a description of e-mails or other electronic communications that could be a possible source of embarrassment.
“Since I have made over 12,000 posts on TaxProf Blog, complying with this requirement would be an onerous chore,” he writes. “My saucy e-mails and text messages to my wife also would get me in trouble.”
The rest of Caron’s post deals with tax information that must be disclosed.
