Prosecutors have gained three more guilty pleas in a probe of phony car accidents that ensnared a New Jersey lawyer.

Edward Campbell Sr. of Irvington, N.J., admitted at a hearing last week that he staged accidents and submitted false insurance claims for lawyer Irwin Seligsohn, the New Jersey Law Journal reports. Two others—Newark residents Edith and Tia Pullin—admitted they participated.

Seligsohn, of Kinnelon, N.J., and his law firm pleaded guilty on Aug. 3 to paying runners $70,000 to find people to submit false accident claims, ABAJournal.com reported in a prior post.
