Bloggers are talking about U.C. Berkeley law school’s latest new hire, identified on its website as “test dummy.”

The Legal Profession Blog notes the error in a post that pictures a crash test dummy and comments on the new hire’s dress. (“Dude, buy a suit.”)

The blog Nuts & Boalts immortalized the error in a PDF file. Look for the entry under the “D” listings. “Why hire someone who is bad at tests?” the blog asks.

The blog Is That Legal? posts a picture of the new professor getting started on his summer writing project.
