The Winning Speech!

We let ABA Journal readers vote on three finalists for the five-word speech that assistant managing editor Molly McDonough would deliver at the Webby Awards ceremony, which was held Tuesday at the Skirball Center for Performing Arts in New York City.
It was a close vote, but this was the winner:
“Had we lost, we’d sue.”
That speech beat out “Shakespeare was wrong – lawyers live!” and “We don’t plan to appeal.”
Stephen Colbert grabbed Webby Person of the Year honors at the event. His five-word speech? “Me, me, me, me, me.”
