Wedding Ring Coffin a ‘Must Have’ Gift, Divorce Lawyer Says

Looking for the perfect gift for a divorce attorney or a divorcing client? An Atlanta newspaper offers a possible suggestion: a wedding ring coffin.

"When I heard about it, I went to the website and thought to myself, 'Must have. Must have'," divorce attorney Melody Richardson tells the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. "I just thought they were hysterical."

Richardson says she has already sent two to clients: one to a man who has everything else, and the other to a divorcing woman who "has a fabulous sense of humor but is still grieving."

The six-inch miniature wooden caskets are just the right size for a wedding ring, an engagement ring and some dried rose petals, the newspaper reports. Although it doesn't provide information about the source of the wedding ring coffins that Richardson purchased, it appears that a Jist Enterprises website may be where she bought hers.
