Weil Gotshal Holds Networking Event at Henri Bendel

Lawyers at Weil Gotshal & Manges combined shopping and networking last week during a private shopping party with clients and friends at upscale clothing store Henri Bendel in New York.
Both the store and the law firm pledged to donate 10 percent of the evening’s proceedings to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation, reports the Front Lines blog of the Wall Street Journal.
The event was organized by Women@Weil, described as an affinity group for women at the law firm that focuses on networking, mentoring, recruiting, rainmaking and pro bono.
Women@Weil’s website says the group has also sponsored a wine tasting in Boston and a party at Neiman Marcus in Dallas called “Makeup, Martinis and Must Haves.”
