Thanks to the Legal Profession Blog, we've learned that Southwestern University School of Law arguably has the best faculty photos on the Web. The photos, for the most part, stray from the staid "mugshot" format and depict profs in a more approachable light.
This got us thinking...
What's the best way you've seen lawyers, law firms or law profs portrayed on the Web? Or share examples of the worst Web legal marketing and advertising.
Answer in the comments below.

Our favorite answer from last week:
Posted by Laurie: Fluorescent light bulbs in the home. Unplug appliances (TV, coffee maker, etc) when not in use. Anything with a remote is unplugged because it is always using energy to “tune-in” to the remote. Down to one car, I take the bus most days. My husband is starting to bike multiple days to work and I am thinking about doing that. We keep the thermostat down in winter and up in summer. AC doesn’t come on until about mid July. Compost heap for organic trash and recycle, so only one small bag of garbage a week. Water conservation tricks, shower with low flow faucet that can be stopped, low flow toilets, and minimal water use for dishes.
Eventually our goal is to go off the grid completely.

Boies Schiller (bsfllp.com). I’ve looked at a lot of firm websites, and theirs are the best. Also, a small enviro law firm in Seattle called Marten Law Group (maternlaw.com). I don’t work at either of those firms.

Pierre Schlag’s photo is a classic.
Full disclosure - I am a 3L (at least for another week) at CU Law.
