Chicago-based Winston & Strawn has added lawyers from a second dissolving law firm.

Winston is hiring 19 lawyers from Thelen, according to a firm press release. Among those joining Winston are the head of Thelen’s antitrust practice, Robert Pringle, two other antitrust partners and several associates from the group, reported the Recorder and Daily Journal (sub. req.).

Another lawyer making the move is bankruptcy partner Richard Lapping, Thelen’s managing partner in San Francisco.

Sixteen of the lawyers will join Winston & Strawn’s 70-lawyer San Francisco office, according to the Daily Journal story.

Earlier this month, Winston & Strawn announced it is expanding into Asia with eight partners and several associates from the dissolving law firm Heller Ehrman.

Updated at 4:19 p.m. to correctly indicate that Winston & Strawn is hiring 19 Thelen lawyers.

Evidently, people need to be a little more careful about where they are splashing the holy water.  If all the big firms dissolve, holiday party suppliers may have to shut down.
