Cloddy Dumbkins Seeks His Fortune

Diorama, Lyrics and Audio by B. McLeod

I set forth for you this story of a hare of little fame, He dwelt in rustic Peep Town, Cloddy Dumbkins was his name, Young Cloddy had to college been, and earned a fine degree, Yet he longed to go to law school, Peep Town Barrister to be,

For with those massive earnings, he’d improve his home and farm, And stroll about with buxom bunny Peeps upon each arm, And to test the wisdom of his plans, lest there be any doubt, The mumbling Madame Meadowlark (a seeress) he sought out,

And from the few words he could grasp, it seemed she did concur, That Cloddy should indeed become his hometown’s barrister, This happy news his feet bestirred, and off they bore him straight, To the hallowed halls of Peepley Law, where Cloddy cast his fate.
