Shipwrecked on the High Seas

“In 1883, a group of English seaman set out on a yacht for Australia. They ran into trouble and had to abandon the ship, making their way to the lifeboat. They fought off sharks with their oars and ended up eating one of their own out of desperation. They were eventually rescued and charged with murder. This is their Peeps diorama. … Note the pink, sunburned ears from the many days at sea.”
