Anderson Kill has added to its ranks a 10-attorney New York corporate firm known for its real estate work, as well as the representation of the boards and management companies of condominiums, cooperatives and homeowner associations.

The New York-based Anderson Kill, announced the acquisition in a Wednesday news release, which says that all paralegals and staff of Rosen Livingston & Cholst also are making the move.

A corporate firm whose biggest practice area is insurance recovery for policyholders, Anderson Kill has about 100 attorneys listed on its website, including the new additions from the Rosen firm.

“The Rosen Livingston attorneys are leaders in their field, as we are in ours,” said managing shareholder Robert Horkovich in the Anderson Kill release. “They are a New York institution, and we look forward to working with them to offer our clients and theirs a broader array of legal services.”

The two firms anticipate synergies in their corporate, insurance recovery, litigation and real estate work.

“We know that we’re joining forces with aggressive and creative litigators at Anderson Kill,” said incoming partner Peter Livingston. “That’s a good cultural fit, to go along with the compatibility of our core practices.”
