Judge Sonia Sotomayor is the front-runner for the U.S. Supreme Court, according to a gambling website.

The Irish website Paddy Power lists odds for Sotomayor at 13-8 and odds for Judge Diane Wood at slightly higher than 2-1, FOX News reports. Sotomayor is a judge on the 2nd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals based in New York, and Wood sits on the 7th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals based in Chicago.

The odds for Michelle Obama, a Harvard law graduate, are 500-1.

Sotomayor was born to Puerto Rican parents and grew up in a housing project in the South Bronx. She graduated summa cum laude at Princeton and edited the Yale Law Journal in law school, the Washington Post reported last week. The Post says she is on Obama’s short list of potential nominees. Detractors say she can be short-tempered, while supporters say she understands the impact of court decisions on everyday people.
