The law firm Paul Hastings said this week that while it plans to add up to 40 lawyers to its New York City office in the next few years, it will scale back its physical footprint there by 25 percent.

Individual offices would be smaller, the firm said, and corner spaces once reserved for top partners could make way for meeting rooms. “At the end of the day,” said Barry Brooks, chairman of the firm’s New York office, “partners don’t need the couch.”

So this week, we’d like to ask you about your workspace. Do you have a plush corner office—or nothing even close to that? Are you satisfied with it? Think you need something better? Or do you know you could make do with less?

Consider yourself welcome to send us photos of your workspace. If we get enough of them, we may make a gallery!
