Donald Sterling shouted at his estranged wife and called her a pig during a trial on Wednesday to determine whether he has the capacity to remain as co-trustee of the trust that owns the Los Angeles Clippers.

The day before, Donald Sterling had kissed Shelly Sterling and said he trusted her. But he apparently had a change of heart after Shelly Sterling testified that her husband was becoming more forgetful and prone to outbursts, showing anger for no particular reason, report the New York Times, the Los Angeles Times and the Wall Street Journal (sub. req.).

Shelly Sterling claims she is entitled as a trustee to sell the team for $2 billion because the terms of the trust allow the ouster of a trustee who is incapacitated.

On the stand, Shelly Sterling said her husband is “just not the same person he used to be” and she decided to have him evaluated after she saw him in a rambling interview with CNN’s Anderson Cooper.

When Shelly Sterling approached her husband after her testimony, he shouted, “Get away from me, you pig,” according to the stories. “How could you lie like that?”
