Some celebrities may make more per hour of actual work, or bring in bigger bucks when all of their income from various sources is added together.

But the top annual total for on-camera television work is the $45 million or so brought in by Judge Judy Scheindlin, according to a TV Guide survey. The issue containing the salary survey will be on newsstands Thursday, reports the New York Daily News.

Another syndicated TV judge, Joe Brown, brings in $20 million.

That compares to the $28 million entertainer David Letterman for his late-night show.
