Justin Bieber scolded a lawyer and showed his irritation when a court reporter couldn’t hear his answers during a video deposition last week in a photographer’s lawsuit.

TMZ showed snippets from the video deposition, saying Bieber appeared “insulting, arrogant, snotty, ignorant and disrespectful” in the deposition last week. CNN covered the highlights. The suit by photographer Jeffrey Binion claims Bieber ordered a bodyguard to attack Binion.

At one point, Miami lawyer Mark DiCowden asks if Bieber ever dated Selena Gomez, drawing an objection from Bieber’s lawyer.

When DiCowden asks Bieber if he ever discussed his feelings about paparazzi with Gomez, Bieber wags his finger at DiCowden. “Don’t ask me about her again,” Bieber says repeatedly. At another point he tells DiCowden, “I don’t have to listen to anything you have to say.”

Bieber appears irritated when a court reporter says she can’t hear Bieber’s answer to a question. ” ‘Yes’ and ‘no’ are f–king pretty different,” Bieber says.

Bieber also confuses the word “detrimental” with “instrumental” when DiCowden asks if it is true that Usher was instrumental in starting Bieber’s career. “I was found on YouTube,” Bieber replies. “I think that I was detrimental to my own career.”
