Most of the lawyers in Boies Schiller Flexner’s corporate group will be moving to Paul Hastings.

Firm chairman David Boies told the Am Law Daily (sub. req.) that the move will help the corporate lawyers serve their clients from a larger platform. And it will allow Boies Schiller to concentrate on its core litigation practice, he said.

Among those making the move include partners Robert Leung, Mike Huang, Stefan dePozsgay, Jason Hill and Russell Franklin. Boies’ son Christopher Boies, who heads the corporate group, will join a firm client rather than switch law firms.

The move was revealed a week after Boies Schiller managing partner Jonathan Schiller told Forbes that he saw the law firm winding down its corporate practice, Above the Law reports.

Six other lawyers for Boies Schiller recently moved to Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman, which opened an office in Miami.
