Terry Carter, a senior writer based in Washington, D.C., joined the ABA Journal staff in 1997. He had been a national correspondent for the Los Angeles Daily Journal and California Lawyer Magazine, and earlier a reporter for The National Law Journal. Terry holds a M.A. in humanities and a B.A. in political science from Old Dominion University.
