A former managing partner of the Atlanta office of Robins Kaplan Miller & Ciresi is leaving the 250-attorney firm after 23 years there to join a small competitor.

Brent Kaplan will now practice at Isenberg & Hewitt, a husband-wife litigation boutique, explains a press release.

In the current economy, clients are “extremely sensitive to fee structures,” says Kaplan in an e-mailed statement provided by a representative. “My new firm will provide the opportunity to be more flexible in what I can do.”
