Wacky Warning Label Contest Winners

An annual contest to identify the wackiest warning labels has come up with some doozies.
The winner was a "Danger: Avoid Death" label on a small tractor. However, other strong contenders included a label for an iron-on T-shirt transfer, “Do not iron while wearing shirt,” and a warning that a vanishing ink fabric marker should not be used for writing checks or signing legal documents, according to reports by the Detroit Free Press and the Associated Press.
This year's entrants had some tough acts to follow: prior winners listed on a website about the contest include, among other gems, a fireplace log label, "Caution—Risk of Fire," and a warning on a smoke detector that turning the alarm off won't extinguish a fire.
The contest is sponsored by Michigan Lawsuit Abuse Watch. This reportedly was its 11th year.
