Video Tour Diary Day 9: School’s Focus on Skills; Vehicle Parked

We said goodbye to our tour vehicle today, but not before giving it one final whirl. At the crack of dawn, or so it seemed, we hit the road for a three-hour drive to Lexington, Va., the home of Washington & Lee School of Law, where Dean Rodney Smolla has spearheaded an innovative third-year program with a strong emphasis on practice skills.

Smolla couldn’t meet with us, so we were delighted to interview Assistant Dean Mary Natkin and two students who transferred to WLU law after hearing about the 3L program:
