$160,000 for a Few New Associates in CT

A few national law firms are paying top dollar to new associates in Connecticut .
The Connecticut Law Tribune says these law firms are paying $160,000 to first-years:
-- Bingham McCutchen in Hartford.
-- Kelley, Drye & Warren in Stamford.
-- Dechert in Hartford.
-- Brown Rudnick Berlack Israels in Hartford.
Several other big firms in the state are paying more than $100,000. Overall, first-year salaries have increased by about 9 percent, the legal newspaper says.
