$1K Reward Offered for ID of Law Firm 'Cubicle Thief' Shown on Crisp, Clear Surveillance Video
The bad news: Someone took an unidentified Tampa, Fla., law firm worker’s wallet out of her purse when she left it unattended on her desk while she went to lunch on Feb. 10.
The good news: Surveillance video of the “cubicle thief” suspect is crisp and clear and authorities are hopeful that publicizing the footage will lead to the identification of the suspect, reports WTSP. A reward of $1,000 is being offered.
Other employees at the law firm noticed the woman walking around on the 32nd floor of its offices at the Tampa City Center but said nothing, the article notes.
“I think sometimes people get that feeling that they don’t want to offend someone,” says spokeswoman Andrea Davis of the Tampa police.
