Casey Anthony is losing a lawyer from her trial team, after he was placed on involuntary inactive status by the California State Bar because of his alleged mishandling of client trust account money.

But even though Todd Macaluso won’t be able to represent Anthony in her upcoming Florida trial over the murder of her toddler daughter, plenty of other defense attorneys remain on her legal team, according to the Orlando Sentinel.

They include: Florida practitioners Jose Baez and Cheney Mason; Andrea Lyon of Illinois; and Linda Kenney Baden of New York.

Anthony, who has pleaded not guilty in the case, could face the death penalty if convicted, reports the Crimesider blog of CBS News.
