A former California prosecutor has been arrested on charges of child pornography and secret filming based on accusations he secretly taped a 15-year-old girl and six other women at a tanning salon.

The lawyer, 43-year-old David Taylor Kaye of San Marcos, formerly worked as a deputy district attorney in Tulare County, the San Diego Union-Tribune reports. He is currently a family law and criminal defense lawyer, with an emphasis on DUI trials, according to his website.

Escondido police investigated after receiving a complaint early last year about a man reaching over a tanning booth and taking photos of women who were undressing, KTLA News reports. Police say they conducted a sting and observed Kaye videotaping a woman, the story says. Police found more evidence on computers and phones in a search of Kaye’s home and office, the Union-Tribune says.
