After a decade of discussion about establishing an office in the nation’s capital, Fox Rothschild has made its move.

With the hire of three lawyers from Dilworth Paxon, the more than 500-attorney Philadelphia-based law firm now has the right team and has planted its flag in Washington, D.C., the Blog of Legal Times reports.

Although only two of the three Dilworth lawyers, right now, will work in the new office, Fox Rothschild plans to have 20 to 30 lawyers working there in the foreseeable future, administrative partner Mark Silow tells the legal publication.

“We’re not looking to grow for growth’s sake. But we are looking to add top-flight practitioners with good books of portable business,” he states.

A law firm press release today provides additional details.
