The Justice Department’s budget request has some good news for job-hunting lawyers.

The department wants to add dozens of lawyers in the areas of cybersecurity, financial and mortgage fraud, and the international theft of intellectual property, according to The BLT: The Blog of Legal Times. The Careerist notes the story.

The Department wants to add 31 lawyers in the Criminal Division, 32 lawyers to the Civil Division, and 43 lawyers to the Civil Rights Division, the story says. The department would eliminate 10 lawyers in the Antitrust Division, however.
