A New York mom is expected to take a plea deal to resolve charges of child endangerment for hiring exotic dancers to appear at her 16-year-old son’s birthday party.

Under the deal, the misdemeanor charges would be dropped against Judy Viger if she performs community service and avoids arrest for six months, her lawyer, Joseph Brennan, tells the Post-Star of Glens Falls.

Viger told police she hired the women for a “bikini gram” rendition of Happy Birthday during the teen’s November 2012 party at a bowling alley. She was charged after posting photos of the exotic dancers online; police say the two strippers performed lap dances and Viger didn’t stop them.

But Viger’s lawyer, Joseph Brennan, has said Viger asked the dancers’ associates to get them to stop when the women began to “turn to activity that wasn’t planned,” according to this prior Post-Star story.
