In response to increased bullying of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning children, the ABA Center on Children and the Law has launched TheKidsAreListening.org, a website with resources and tips for lawyers on how to interact with LGBTQ kids in foster care.

The campaign is a part of the center’s Opening Doors/LGBTQ Youth in Foster Care project, which was launched in 2005 and was formed to make lawyers and judges aware of the unique issues that LGBTQ kids in foster care face.

The campaign has created an anti-bullying public service announcement that has already gotten more than 30,000 open-ups on YouTube.
