Baker Donelson Acquires Florida Location Through Small Firm Merger
Baker, Donelson, Bearman, Caldwell & Berkowitz has gained a Florida office through a merger with six-lawyer Litchford & Christopher in Orlando.
The move follows Baker Donelson’s acquisition of seven-lawyer Houston firm Spain Chambers in October, according to a press release and the New Orleans Times-Picayune.
The press release quotes Baker Donelson chairman Ben Adams. “With a presence in Orlando, we can broaden the representation and services that we provide to our numerous clients who do business in Florida, particularly in the areas of financial services, commercial mortgage backed securities and health care,” he said.
