A cleaning worker at a Maryland courthouse who parked in a prime space near the building says a judge apparently deflated her tire.

Detectives are investigating and will decide today whether to file charges against Judge Robert Nalley of Charles County, the Washington Post reports. Anonymous sources told the newspaper that two county sheriff's jail officers saw the judge let the air out of the tire of the worker’s Toyota Corolla parked outside the La Plata courthouse. One of the officers reportedly recorded the incident on his cell phone.

The car owner, Jean Washington, told the Post she rushed out of the courthouse to move the car when a sheriff’s deputy warned her the judge was about to let the air out of her tire. When she arrived, her rear passenger tire was flat. "I was just about in tears," Washington told the newspaper. "I wasn't so upset at the fact my tire was flat—it was who did it. I'm still in shock."

Washington said she likes to park close to the courthouse because her shift doesn’t end until night. Nalley did not comment when contacted by the newspaper.
