The San Francisco office of Howrey has just lost another leading rainmaker.
Intellectual property litigator K.T. "Sunny" Cherian moved to Hogan Lovells on Saturday along with a four-partner team from Howrey and a reputed $10 million book of business, the Recorder reports.
As the Recorder notes, Cherian's move may not be music to the ears of Winston & Strawn, which has reportedly made offers to a number of partners at Howrey after opting not to formally merge with the struggling firm.
Although Cherian's bio is still live on the Howrey site, a woman answering his phone at the firm confirms he no longer works there.
Hat tip: It's Howrey Doody Time.
