Ten speakers will provide a series of fast-paced and dynamic slideshow presentations on ways to boost profits and navigate individual careers at the Legal Rebels 2010: 10 Ways to Build a Perfect Practice & Career event on Thursday, Aug 5.

Legal experts including alternative billing guru Ron Baker and virtual law office maven Stephanie Kimbro will have 6 minutes and 20 slides to present their top practice tips for BigLaw partners and associates, boutique specialists, and small firm and solo practitioners. The slides will advance every 18 seconds—whether the speakers want them to or not.

“The audience can expect some of the best thinking in the profession, concentrated down into easily understood and consumed bites of information,” says LexThink’s Matt Homann, who will present at and produce the session. “We have thought leaders talking about big, universal themes and just about every lawyer will walk away with more than a couple of takeaways.”

Featured topics will include better ways to attract clients, how to effectively price legal services, embracing technology and rethinking the traditional law firm business model. The event takes place from 12:30 p.m. to 2 p.m. on the expo floor of Moscone Center West. Audience members will be invited to vote for their favorite presentation.

The event is the kickoff for this year’s Legal Rebels project, profiling some of the most innovative lawyers in America. Videos of the presentations and profiles of the Legal Rebels 2010 will begin appearing online at LegalRebels.com/videos in September.
