A DNA sample taken from a New York limo driver who admitted setting fire to his vehicle has led to his arrest in the 2000 rape of a New York University law student.

Rajeev Kumar, 30, pleaded not guilty to the rape charge on Tuesday, according to stories in the Associated Press, the New York Post and the New York Daily News. He admitted setting fire to his limo to collect insurance money and pleaded guilty to arson in March, AP says.

Kumar is accused of attacking the student in the back seat of his friend’s town car, the Daily News says.
