McKenna Long and Luce Forward Complete Merger
McKenna Long & Aldridge completed its merger with California-based Luce, Forward, Hamilton & Scripps on Tuesday.
The combined firm will continue under the name McKenna Long & Aldridge, according to the San Diego Union-Tribune and the Washington Post’s Capital Business Blog. It will have more than 575 attorneys and public policy advisers, and will be among the nation’s 100 largest law firms.
Luce Forward managing partner Kurt Kicklighter will become executive partner of McKenna Long for California. He told the Post there are no lawyer layoffs anticipated, but he would not comment on possible staff reductions.
