The three sons of a Dallas lawyer who died in a suspicious fire announced a $25,000 reward on Thursday for information leading to an arrest.

The family of the lawyer, Ira Tobolowsky, has put up $20,000 and North Texas Crime Stoppers has added $5,000, report the Dallas Morning News and NBC News.

Tobolowsky’s death is being investigated as a homicide after he was found dead in a garage fire on May 13. A Dallas judge presiding over a defamation suit filed by Tobolowsky was assigned extra security after the lawyer’s body was found.

One of the sons, Michael Tobolowsky said they “have no idea” whether their father’s death was related to his legal work, according to the Dallas Morning News account. “We’d all kind of like to think that it was, because in our minds that makes it easier to solve,” he said. “That’s just a hope more than anything.”
