Thompson & Knight to Open New Office in Los Angeles
A Texas law firm is planting its flag in California.
Thompson & Knight will open a Los Angeles office Oct. 1, the Dallas Business Journal reports. A law firm press release provides additional details.
The new office will initially be staffed by partner Shelly A. Youree as well as counsel Bruce J. Zabarauskas, who recently joined the firm from Crowell & Moring. Zabarauskas had a national banking, bankruptcy and foreclosure practice there.
“The opening of a California office and the addition of Bruce further strengthen our geographic reach, enhance the services we provide, and demonstrate our commitment to current and prospective clients located in or doing business in California,” said managing partner Emily A. Parker in the release.
Thompson & Knight has about 330 lawyers in Texas, New York, California, Michigan, and international offices in Mexico, London, Paris and Algeria.
