Corrected: Anne Bremner is a well-known Seattle lawyer who often appears on television as a legal analyst, but it seems she didn’t want any attention in a recent civil lawsuit she brought as a Jane Doe, challenging police procedure after a DUI arrest in June.

King County prosecutors haven’t decided if they will prosecute Bremner, whose clients include the city of Seattle, SeattlePI.com reported.

Her lawyers argued that details of the arrest would damage her professional reputation and should not be made public. On Aug. 12, a King County Superior Court judge granted a motion, filed by SeattlePI.com and television station KIRO/7, that most of the records should be made public. Bremner’s lawyers stated they would appeal the ruling, and it was stayed.

According to Bremner’s complaint, she was the victim of a hit-and-run, and police failed to respond to two 911 calls she made before the arrest occurred. A statement submitted to the court by Bremner’s doctor on her behalf alleged Bremner was manhandled by the sheriff’s deputy who arrested her, SeattlePI.com reported.
