A paralegal in Philadelphia who was a pioneering commenter on the law on Twitter is being mourned by dozens of followers who feel as though they have lost a close friend. Roberta "Ro" Frazier, best-known by her screen name of "Lilyhill," died suddenly after experiencing a massive stroke, according to a tweet by her daughter on Lilyhill's account.
A common theme noted by several followers in their Twitter comments on Lilyhill's passing is that this is the first time they have lost a friend on Twitter.
"When she tweeted, I smiled at her wit, was delighted by her sense of humor and marveled at her ability to find and share relevant, cutting-edge but sometimes ever so slightly delightfully off-kilter legal and professional news. She was my irreverent but knowledgeable Twitter goddess who tweeted the tweets I wish I’d tweeted first," writes Lynne DeVenny in a Practical Paralegalism post about Frazier's death.
Describing her as "a bright star in the Twitterverse," DeVenny also collects in her post some of Lilyhill's top tweets and comments from others saddened by news that she will no longer be part of their daily lives.

A sad and lamentable bit of news, which does, however, show that even in the Twitterverse, all is not always happiness and sunshine. Even the brightest of online personalities endure for but a finite span of days, and have their troubles. Times of adversity give greater meaning to the moments when Fortune smiles, as the hardest winter freeze enhances one’s appreciation for a warm fire. We must learn to take the Twitter with the Tweet, and not despair.
