With the price of a law school education pushing into the six figures, aspiring lawyers may think twice before taking the plunge.
But the folks at Mental Floss, the humor magazine and Web site, have your back with their just-released Law School in a Box. Created by the Philadelphia lawyer couple John Cascarano and Jacquelyn Ona Cascarano, the tiny tin includes a 96-page mini-textbook covering everything from legal lingo to a thoroughly incomplete, yet wholly satisfying history of pre-U.S. law to a humorous synopsis of important precedents—and then some. There’s also a pocket-size bar exam in there along with a minibar exam (of the cocktail kind) and colorful trading cards featuring heroes of the courtroom and intriguing legal questions. All at a price it won’t take you 30 years to pay off.
Find Law School in a Box for $14.95 at major booksellers or online at Amazon.com.
