If you have an opinion about the best legal-related movie line of all time, get ready to cast your vote.
The editors of Bloomberg Law have picked the top 10 funniest, most moving or most inspiring movie lines, and they are taking a vote. The top 10 include these lines:
• From Prof. Kingsfield in the Paper Chase, to his student James T. Hart: “Here’s a dime. Call your mother. Tell her there’s serious doubt about your becoming a lawyer.”
• Spoken by Larry Flynt to his lawyer in The People v. Larry Flynt: “You don’t want to quit me. I’m your dream client. I’m the most fun, I’m rich, and I’m always in trouble.”
• Lawyer Vinny Gambini delivering a legal argument in My Cousin Vinny: “Everything that guy just said is bullshit. Thank you.”
• Col. Nathan Jessup, played by Jack Nicholson, speaking to the JAG lawyer played by Tom Cruise in A Few Good Men: “You can’t handle the truth!”
