DA Mulls Call for Case Review, Because Top Court Justice Got Free Legal Services from Party's Firm
A Wisconsin district attorney is pondering whether to ask the state supreme court to reconsider a controversial ruling over a state collective bargaining law for public employees, following news that one of the justices who voted on the case received free legal representation from a party’s law firm, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
“We’re taking a hard look at it,” said Dane County District Attorney Ismael Ozanne. “I don’t think we have all the facts, but the ones we do have are concerning.”
